T-Shirt Committee Photos
Going for a walk after a big dinner.
What are those funny looking black beasts on the field?
They're Black Angus cattle, that's where your hamburgers & steaks come from.
White-Faced Black Anguses with identification tags on ears.
Pssst, don't look, but I think those city slickers are laughing at us.
The gentle rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley. Seen in the distance
are the mountains of the Shenandoah National Park.
A genuine cow pie. Yours for the taking.

A Black Angus bull.
Don't mess with me! I outweigh you by 1,000 pounds!
A farm relic of the past era. This tractor had steel rear wheels and a steering wheel assembly
that used a worm gear assembly
(seen in front of Donna) to turn the front wheels, as did many tractors of its
time. The engine is missing.

A worm gear assembly.
Same tractor but looking from rear. Tractors back then used small engines
and large gears. Really a simple design.
Let's see, I think my home is that a way on the other side of the mountains.
Would you believe a friendly tree took this picture?
Walking back to the house.
Someone nearly slipped down and left this mess. Let's mark this as Exhibit
A.
How many man-power will it take to pull this plow?
Hmmm . . . is that one-and-half man-power team?
Think Debbie and Gary will make a fine pulling team for this plow?
Another farm relic, a plow.
Still another farm relic. Donna is sitting on a two-row planter.
Notice that the wheels are shaped to cover up planted seeds with dirt.
Donna shows how it is done. First, you clench your fists and brace
yourself.
Then you take a deep breath and exhale slowly . . . .
Gary trying to clean mud off his shoes. Remember Exhibit A above - perhaps
he is the guilty one?
Your dedicated committee hard at work
Smiling for the camera is part of the hard work.
It was Donna's brilliant idea to go to the mountaintop in complete darkness.
The town lights of Luray, Virginia. I could have used a tripod.
This is what the Shenandoah Valley looked like from the mountaintop at night.
Did you see someone undressing in that window?
Smiling like a pair of foxes in a henhouse.
An UFO? This is what happens when you try to take a picture of the moon
without using a tripod.
The moon, on second attempt. I wished I had a tripod.
The streaks of white & red lights at bottom are cars traveling on Route 211.
Tom tells a story about his experience.
Gary, Debbie, and Tom get another look before leaving.
Jill tries to explain something while Debbie and Tom clown around.
