The Miss Deaf Virginia Ambassadorship (formerly Miss Deaf Virginia Pageant) traditionally is held during the biennial Virginia Association of the Deaf Conference. The Ambassadorship is open to deaf and hard of hearing women who are residents of Virginia. They must be between ages 17 and 30. The contestants will be judged in five areas, which are private interview, platform presentation, artistic expression, evening wear, and an on-stage interview.
