The Miss Deaf Virginia Pageant traditionally is held during the biennial Virginia Association of the Deaf Conference. The Pageant is open to deaf and hard of hearing women who are residents of Virginia. They must be between ages 17 and 27. The contestants will be judged in five areas, which are private interview, platform presentation, talent show, evening wear, and on-stage interview.
