There was a large turnout.

Jack Wilson (blue shirt) makes a comment.

Barry and Vicki dressed up as travelers in the presentation.

"Are we ready?  Do we have water bottles?  Do we have cash?  Do we have passports and vistas?"

Two brave volunteers carried out the roles of Vicki and Barry in a taxi in India.

It was hot in India, about 110 degrees.  Even with windows opened in the taxi, it was still hot.  Air-conditioning was available at an additional charge.

You're in a taxi on narrow street weaving around people, camels, carts, etc.

Barry and Vicki donned winter clothing for their talk on Mt. Everest in Nepal.  It was really cold.

Brrrr.  It was really cold, and there was no heat in the cabin.

Having to go to an outhouse during the night, Vicki and Barry were taken aback by the beautiful stars.

The stars were more beautiful and brighter at Mt. Everest because we were much higher and closer to them.

The stars seemed so close you could touch them.

Barry and Vicki wore Chinese robes as they talked about China.

Barry answered questions about the travel.

Vicki manned the laptop during the presentation.

A native of Shanghai, China, Jasmine Baird helped explain some Chinese customs.  Here she was explaining why Shanghai
was tagged with a "chain" sign.  It had a lot to do with the use of cranes to load and unload large ocean ships at Shanghai.

Vicki was wearing a beautiful, decorative Chinese vest.
