Happy Holidays!
The Apple Valley Chapter was formed on March 4, 2004, when several
Winchester area people met to discuss the need for a local Chapter of VAD.
The idea of having a VAD chapter in the Winchester area was finally
realized when the local people decided to form a chapter. Having
formed a chapter, they elected the
officers (see the names in the left column) and set a date of the next
meeting. The next step is to work on the chapter bylaws and discuss
the membership dues.
The purpose of the Chapter is to serve Deaf and
Hard of Hearing people in the city of Winchester and the North Shenandoah
region. All is welcome to join the Chapter, attend meetings, discuss
anything affecting their lives, and help plan activities.

All meetings to be held at the Winchester Rehab Center,
1st Floor Conference Room.
